oh yeah ... I almost forgot. The fabled ”Philadelphia Experiment”, the way I remember if from my rate training in the US Navy (I was an Electrician’s Mate) ... it was an experiment in ”invisibility” of sorts. Naval vessels are (or were at one time) protected from magnetically-triggered mines by something named Degaussing Coils, huge loops of copper windings within the hull of the ship. The idea (which worked fairly well, as I recall) was to negate the magnetic disturbance caused by the iron-hulled vessel as it passed through the Earth’s lines of magnetic flux, thereby triggering the detonation of the sea mine. As I recall, the Philadelphia Experiment was an attempt to induce ”radar invisibility” by way of the same principle. Crewmen were injured and sickened by the intolerably intense magnetic field that was generated, not by the passage of the ship through some ”portal”.
That’s the way I remember it, anyway ... although I’m always ready to be proven wrong.

so, my way of whiling away the idle hours has been discovered!?! LOL
Well, I’ll acknowledge the plausibility of ”conspiracies”, but don’t consider myself a ”conspiracy theorist”. Nevertheless, there are enough questions that remain unanswered that I’m reluctant to dismiss things out-of-hand that are somewhere outside the range of my experience. I have a thought or two about UFOs, extraterrestrials, and various manifestations of xeno-biology. If quick and easy answers are what we’re all after, then no results will ever be satisfactory.
Don’t worry ... be happy ... and keep those eyes and ears open.
